The Young Minds Matter survey, which was conducted in 2013-14, provided information on prevalence and severity of mental disorders in children and adolescents aged 4-17 years. To update these estimates, modelling was used combining data from Young Minds Matter with information from the 2021 Australian Census of Population and Housing to produce synthetic estimates of prevalence of mental disorders in children and adolescents across Australia. Regional profiles have been provided for each SA4 region, Primary Health Network (PHN) region, and Commonwealth Electoral District (CED) in Australia.
